On 11th of December 2010 the largest ever gathering of VOWs celebrated the 50th anniversary of the totally victorious 1960’s rugby side. 13 of the 16 players in that team attended and were joined by 75 other OWs including amongst these members of the two unbeaten 1953 rugby sides. The day was not exclusively theirs as leavers from nearly every year 1935 to 1970 reminisced with former teachers and school mates, enjoying a good lunch and company in the splendid new Dining Hall.
