In a thrilling game the leavers of 2010 dominated the early stages of the game and twice took the lead against the MCS Staff team with goals from George Rendall and Sam Hewes. On the first occasion they were pegged back by a header from ‘The Rev’ Nick Seward and on the second by a shot from Huw Jones. The winner came midway through the second half from the penalty spot and ‘The Rev’ calmly put it away. Despite great efforts particularly from Barney White and George Rendall, some silky footwork by Oskar Paul and Jonny Burrows ferocity the OWs could not get the equaliser in the closest match for years.
