Will Gilgrass, who left MCS in 2006, will appear on BBC 6Music, hosting the 6Mix between 8pm and 10pm on August 1st.  This show is normally hosted by some of the most famous DJs in the world, including 2ManyDJs, Orbital and Derrick May, so Will is hugely excited by the prospect.

We were delighted that Will was able to warm up for his BBC appearance by DJing at this year's MCS Leavers' Ball, where he filled the dancefloor.

Whilst a student at Nottingham University, Will fought off tough competition to win Gold at the 2009 Student Radio Awards in the ‘Best Specialist Music Programming' section, for his weekly show ‘Radio ClubFoot' on University Radio for Nottingham.  He also picked up Bronze awards for ‘Best Interview' (with DJ Zodiac Cartel) and Best Outside Broadcast (for live coverage of the Nottingham Varsity Series).
