Andy Byrne (OW, 1993 - 2000), son of Chris Byrne, Former MCS Chemistry teacher (1972 - 2006), has just completed his 2010 miles in 2010 in aid of the Andrew Flintoff Foundation. He calculates it took him 324 days to do, involving about 250 hours on the road and expending 217000 calories! 

And now he's at home recovering from a bilateral hernia operation, which he put off until the running was finished!

Among other 'organised' runs that he did as part of the grand total the photo shows him taking part in the Stockholm Marathon in June.
